Go by height first, then weight. 0–6 months fits 50–67 cm and 3–7.5 kg; 6–12 months 67–78 cm; 12–18 months 78–86 cm; 18–24 months 86–92 cm; 2–5 years 92–110 cm; 5–10 years 110–140 cm. Between two sizes, take the larger — the plush is generous and leaves room for a layer underneath.

Can my baby sleep in it?

No. It is loungewear and a costume, not sleepwear. It is a thick, loose plush garment with a hood, and babies should sleep in close-fitting sleepwear with nothing near the face. Take it off before naps and bedtime, and keep an eye on a baby in it so they do not overheat.

What is it made of?

The outer is a deep-pile plush and the lining is a smooth fleece. The supplier does not publish the fibre content, so we do not quote one — the sewn-in care label on the garment is the authority.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Zip it up and turn it inside out first so the shell keeps its shape and the plush does not rub against the drum.
