The Solis Aegis MK-XVII is the flagship of the range — a precise, 1:1 replica of the striking heart-plated armour helmet, rebuilt from the ground up on two years of feedback from MK-V and MK-L owners.
The shell is reinforced multi-layer ABS: stiffer panels, less flex and a smoother metallic finish, yet about 12% lighter than the MK-V at roughly 1,130 g. High-torque micro motors open the faceplate in about 1.2 seconds, and brighter eye and ear LEDs hold up in daylight.
Command it by voice, by the two touch sensors at the ears or by the five-button remote, which also changes the eye colour and switches the eye and side lights. Choose the finish that suits your shelf: Classic Gold & Red, Silver & Red, Silver & Black or the all-black Dark Edition.

Yes. Classic Gold & Red, Silver & Red, Silver & Black and Dark Edition differ only in paint and cost the same.
Is this a protective helmet?
No. It is a wearable collector's piece, not safety equipment — it is not certified for riding, sport or impact protection. Enjoy it on display, at events and in photos, never on the road.
What head sizes does it fit?
One size fits most adults: head circumferences of roughly 55–62 cm (21.5–24.5 in). The padded interior keeps it steady; take short breaks during long wear.
Is it suitable for children?
Not for children under 6 — it contains small parts. Older children should wear it with an adult nearby.
What does the 5-year warranty cover?
Every manufacturing defect and hardware failure under normal use for five years from delivery — the faceplate motors, the voice module, the LEDs, the touch sensors and the remote. Drops, liquid damage and batteries are not covered.
How do I look after it?
Wipe it with a soft microfibre cloth, avoid harsh cleaners and water, and store it somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight. Take the batteries out if it will sit unused for weeks.
