About this item

The Solis Halo drops into the round badge recess on your car and replaces it with a full-colour LED display — 9 mm deep, IP67 sealed, and showing whatever you put on it. It is the badge equivalent of changing your wallpaper.

  • A badge you can change your mind about — A normal emblem is one decision, made once, in the paint shop. This one is a screen: a clock face when you park it up, your own artwork on the app version, something daft when your mates are watching. The hardware never changes — only what it is showing.
  • Touch it, or drive it from your phone — The 74 and 82 mm versions cycle through a built-in library when you tap the face, which is the simplest thing that works and needs no app account. The 88 mm version connects to your phone instead, and that is the one to buy if you want your own artwork on it rather than someone else's.
  • Sealed, then forgotten — IP67 means dust-tight and good for immersion, which is a harder standard than a badge actually needs — a badge only ever faces rain, spray and a pressure washer held too close. The margin is the point: this is a part you fit once and stop thinking about.
  • Display — Full-colour LED, image and video modes
  • Sizes — 74 mm, 82 mm and 88 mm diameter

A badge you can change your mind about

A normal emblem is one decision, made once, in the paint shop. This one is a screen: a clock face when you park it up, your own artwork on the app version, something daft when your mates are watching. The hardware never changes — only what it is showing.

What owners say

  • It is the first thing anyone asks about

Parked up and had two people at the front of the car within a week. Nobody believes it is a badge until you tap it and the picture changes.
    Deniz A.
  • Went into the existing recess, nothing drilled

Old badge levered out, this one sat straight into the same moulding. If I sell the car the original goes back in and there is no trace.
    Owen P.
  • Budget for the wiring, not just the badge

No power supply in the box and the touch version is hard-wired. Mine went in with a piggy-back fuse tap in an afternoon, but if that sentence means nothing to you, pay someone.
    Marcus L.
  • Survived a winter of motorway spray

IP67 is doing what it says. Salt, rain, jet wash at the self-service bay, still bright and no water behind the face.
    Sandra V.
  • Check for a camera behind your badge first

Mine was fine but the rear badge on my other car hides the reversing camera, and this cannot go there. Two minutes of looking saves a return.
    Tom R.
  • 88 mm for your own images

The touch versions only run the built-in library. If you want your own logo, the 88 is the only one.
    Xavier Boulanger
  • App is basic

It works and it uploads. Nobody is going to call it polished.
    Rina Yamashita
  • Nine millimetres is flush enough

It reads as factory rather than as an add-on.
    Gerald Mutasa
  • Measure your badge before ordering

Three sizes exist for a reason. Mine was 82.
    Konstantin Petrov
  • Bright at night

Worth turning down in a dark car park unless you enjoy attention.
    Simone Okoro
  • Fitted in an afternoon

Fuse tap, cable behind the grille, done.
    Barry Cunningham
  • Best money spent on the car this year

    Ahead of the alloys.
    Hanna Virtanen

Frequently asked questions

Can I legally use this on a public road?

Check before you buy, because the answer depends on where you drive. Animated and coloured lighting on the outside of a car is restricted in a lot of places: the UK works from the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations, the EU from UNECE Regulation 48, Australia from the ADRs, and in the US it is decided state by state. Plenty of owners treat this as a shows-and-meets part and switch it off on the road. We would rather tell you that up front than after you have paid.

Which size do I need?

Measure the round badge already on the car, across the outside of the recess. Most fall on 74 mm or 82 mm; the 88 mm is the app-controlled version. If your car has a reversing camera hidden behind the rear badge, none of them will fit — that badge is doing a second job.

Do I have to drill anything?

No. It uses the recess and the mounting the original badge already sits in, so the panel is untouched and it is reversible. The wiring is the part that takes the time, not the badge.

Can it show a car manufacturer's logo?

We do not supply manufacturer logos and we would not recommend running one. A car maker's roundel or wordmark is a registered trademark, and a replica badge wearing it is exactly what their enforcement teams look for. Your own artwork, a clock, or anything from the built-in library is the safe and frankly more interesting use of a screen.

Is it waterproof enough for winter?

It is rated IP67 — dust-tight, and sealed against immersion. Rain, road salt spray and a car wash are all inside what that rating covers.

What is actually in the box?

The emblem, the wiring harness and its small control module. A power supply is not included; the touch versions are wired into the car's 12 V and the 88 mm version plugs into the accessory socket.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are confirmed and processed within 2–3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Chinese public holidays), then typically arrive within 6–12 business days in the US, UK, Germany and the rest of Europe, or 8–15 business days in Canada (7–14 elsewhere), tracked all the way to your door.

Is shipping free?

Yes, on every order of $29.99 or more. Below $29.99, standard shipping is a flat $9.99, shown at checkout before you pay.

What is your return policy?

30-day returns, no questions asked. If it isn't right, contact us and we'll arrange the return.

Is there a warranty?

Every product carries a full 1-year warranty on top of the 30-day money-back promise.

Which payment methods do you accept?

All major cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay — processed through Shopify's encrypted, PCI-compliant checkout.

How do I track my order?

You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships, and you can check progress any time on our Track Order page.
