About this item

The display stand made for the Solis Aegis helmets: a reactor-pattern base that lights up blue, and two clear acrylic rails that hold the helmet upright at eye level with nothing in front of the face.

  • Lit from below — The base is the display light: a reactor pattern that glows blue under the helmet and throws light up onto the chin and faceplate, the way a museum case would.
  • Clear, so the helmet is the point — Two acrylic rails take the weight. From the front they almost disappear, so what you see is the helmet at eye level — and a motorised faceplate still has room to open.
  • A minute to build — It arrives flat: slot the two rails into the base and it is done. No tools.
  • Fits — Solis Aegis MK-V, MK-L, MK-XVII
  • Base — Reactor pattern with blue LED and nameplate
  • Supports — Two clear acrylic rails

What owners say

  • Helmet at eye level

My MK-V finally sits upright at eye level instead of on a shelf. The rails are clear enough that you barely see them.
    Adrian K.
  • One minute is accurate

Slid the two acrylic rails into the base and it was done. No screws, no tools.
    Brianna T.
  • The blue glow underneath

The reactor pattern lights the chin and faceplate from below. Looks like a museum case in a dark room.
    Calvin R.
  • Dust the acrylic gently

Rails show fingerprints and scratch easily, so I only use a dry microfibre cloth. Otherwise perfect.
    Danielle F.
  • Faceplate can open

With the MK-L on it the motorised faceplate still has room to open fully. That was my main worry.
    Ethan V.
  • Nameplate is a nice touch

The plate on the front of the base finishes it off. Looks like a proper exhibit rather than a stand.
    Fiona L.
  • Steady with a heavy helmet

The MK-XVII is not light, and it sits on the rails without any lean or wobble.
    George A.
  • Helmet sold separately

Obvious in hindsight, but make sure you order the helmet too. I had the stand a few days before the helmet arrived.
    Holly M.
  • Shelf to centrepiece

Moved the helmet from a bookshelf to its own spot on the sideboard. Completely changes how it looks.
    Ivan P.
  • Fits my other helmet too

Bought it for the Aegis, but my older wearable helmet with a similar neck opening sits on it fine as well.
    Jasmine O.
  • Arrived flat and safe

Came in a flat box with the rails wrapped separately. Nothing scratched in transit.
    Kyle B.
  • Worth it for the light

I nearly skipped the stand. The glow under the helmet is what makes the display.
    Lena S.
  • Wish it had a dimmer

Looks great, but the blue is bright at night and there is no way to turn it down. I switch it off before bed.
    Marco D.
  • Clean look on the desk

Two clear rails and a lit base, nothing else. Does not compete with the helmet.
    Natasha G.
  • Level surface only

On my slightly uneven shelf it felt less secure, so I moved it to the desk. Rock solid there.
    Oscar H.
  • Bought a second one

Got the MK-V and MK-XVII and a stand for each. Side by side they look like an armoury.
    Phoebe J.
  • Display for the man cave

Sits on the bar with the lights down and the blue base is all you see until you get close.
    Quentin W.
  • Christmas gift sorted

Bought the helmet last year and the stand this year. He set it up before breakfast.
    Rosa E.
  • Rails a bit thin looking

Was worried they would flex, but they hold fine. Just look more delicate than they are.
    Sean N.
  • Exactly as pictured

Same reactor pattern, same rails, same glow. No surprises.
    Tina C.
  • Easy to move around

Light enough to pick up with the helmet off and move to another room for guests.
    Umar F.
  • Makes photos easy

I photograph my collection and the lit base does half the lighting work for me.
    Valerie K.
