Can I make it stop at 80%?
Yes, through your phone: turn on its charge limit (for example 80%) in the battery settings. When the phone stops charging at that limit, the adapter cuts off too.
Isn't this what optimised charging on my phone already does?
Not quite. Optimised charging holds the battery near its limit but keeps the phone connected, topping it up through the night. This adapter cuts the power completely once charging is done.
Is charging a phone overnight dangerous?
