Helmet at eye level
My MK-V finally sits upright at eye level instead of on a shelf. The rails are clear enough that you barely see them.

One minute is accurate
Slid the two acrylic rails into the base and it was done. No screws, no tools.

The blue glow underneath
The reactor pattern lights the chin and faceplate from below. Looks like a museum case in a dark room.

Dust the acrylic gently
Rails show fingerprints and scratch easily, so I only use a dry microfibre cloth. Otherwise perfect.

Faceplate can open
With the MK-L on it the motorised faceplate still has room to open fully. That was my main worry.

Nameplate is a nice touch
The plate on the front of the base finishes it off. Looks like a proper exhibit rather than a stand.

Steady with a heavy helmet
The MK-XVII is not light, and it sits on the rails without any lean or wobble.

Helmet sold separately
Obvious in hindsight, but make sure you order the helmet too. I had the stand a few days before the helmet arrived.

Shelf to centrepiece
Moved the helmet from a bookshelf to its own spot on the sideboard. Completely changes how it looks.

Fits my other helmet too
Bought it for the Aegis, but my older wearable helmet with a similar neck opening sits on it fine as well.

Arrived flat and safe
Came in a flat box with the rails wrapped separately. Nothing scratched in transit.

Worth it for the light
I nearly skipped the stand. The glow under the helmet is what makes the display.

Wish it had a dimmer
Looks great, but the blue is bright at night and there is no way to turn it down. I switch it off before bed.

Clean look on the desk
Two clear rails and a lit base, nothing else. Does not compete with the helmet.

Level surface only
On my slightly uneven shelf it felt less secure, so I moved it to the desk. Rock solid there.

Bought a second one
Got the MK-V and MK-XVII and a stand for each. Side by side they look like an armoury.

Sits on the bar with the lights down and the blue base is all you see until you get close.
