About this item

The Solis Nightfall football is a full-size, properly weighted ball with a bright LED sealed inside — switch it on and backyard passes, tailgates and driveway games keep going after dark.

  • The game doesn't stop at sunset — The whole ball lights up, so a spiral is easy to track against a dark sky — the catch is as easy at 9 pm as at 5 pm.
  • Full size, real feel — Same size and grip as a standard football, so it is a real throw, not a toy — good for teenagers and adults as well as kids.
  • Ready out of the box — Batteries come installed, so it can go straight from the box to the backyard — a good birthday or game-day gift.
  • Size — Full-size (supplier-stated)
  • Cover — Synthetic leather (PU)
  • Light — Internal LED, on/off switch

What owners say

  • Son hasn't put it down

Bought for his 12th birthday. Very bright, and it feels like a real football.
    Daniel K.

  • Tailgate hit

Threw it around in the car park after the game, in the dark. People kept asking where it was from.
    Steve R.

  • Good, a little heavy

Slightly heavier than our old ball, which makes it throw well.
    Amy L.

  • Spirals you can track

The whole ball lights up, so you can follow a spiral across the dark sky and actually catch it.
    Abe C.

  • Batteries already in

Took it out of the box, flipped the switch and we were throwing in the backyard two minutes later.
    Bella D.

  • Real throw, not a toy

Full size and grips like a proper ball. My teenagers were sceptical until they threw it.
    Craig E.

  • Remember to switch it off

No motion sensor, so it stays lit until you switch it off. Left it on overnight once and needed new batteries.
    Dawn F.

  • Damp grass no problem

Played on evening grass with dew everywhere. The cover wiped dry and the light kept going.
    Elton G.

  • Driveway catch after work

My son and I throw in the driveway after I get home. In winter that used to be impossible.
    Fay H.

  • Bright from far away

Even on a deep throw down the field the light is easy to see.
    Garrett I.

  • Batteries are replaceable

Got a few evenings before the light dimmed. Swapping the batteries was easy.
    Holly J.

  • Camping trip football

Brought it camping. Played catch by the tents until midnight.
    Ivan K.

  • Grip feels proper

The synthetic leather cover has a real grip, even with cold hands.
    Jodie L.

  • Birthday gift landed

Gave it to my nephew for his 14th. His friends all want one.
    Kurt M.
