About this item

The Solis Bag Charm is a soft interactive companion that clips to a bag strap and physically turns its head toward people who pass, using motion sensors rather than a screen or an app.

  • It notices people — Motion sensors turn its head toward whoever walks past, with randomised timing so the reaction never feels scripted.
  • No app, no pairing — Nothing to configure or update. It hooks over a bag strap and reacts — that is the whole interaction.
  • Twenty centimetres of plush — Soft premium plush over a real articulated neck, at 20 cm tall and 11.5 cm wide — sized to ride on a tote without pulling it over.
  • Height — 20 cm (7.87 in)
  • Width — 11.5 cm (4.53 in)
  • Depth — 10 cm (3.94 in)

Customer reviews

What owners say

  • Turns its head at people

It genuinely reacts when someone walks past. Made three strangers laugh on the train.
    Yuki S.

  • Clips to anything

Tote, backpack, gym bag. The clip holds through a full commute.
    Rosa B.

  • Charge lasts a few days

Depends how much it triggers. Charging weekly is fine for me.
    Hannah D.

  • Ivory one is the cutest

Fur looks better in person than in the photos. Doesn't look cheap.
    Mei L.

  • Gift that landed

Bought it for my niece and she has not taken it off her bag since.
    Tolga E.

  • Small enough to not be annoying

Doesn't swing about or catch on things.
    Ivan K.

  • Wish the eyes were dimmer at night

Lovely glow, just bright in a dark cinema. Minor.
    Sara N.

  • Fur survived the rain

Got caught in a downpour, dried out fine, still works.
    Chloe R.

  • Better made than the ones on the market stalls

Stitching and the motor both feel a level above.
    Deniz Y.

  • Office desk companion now

Moved it from my bag to my monitor. It greets me when I sit down.
    Patrick O.

  • It turns to look at you

That is the whole thing and it is genuinely charming the first fifty times.
    Yuki Tamura

  • On a bag strap all term

My daughter's school bag. It survived.
    Bernadette Ashworth

  • It is small

Smaller than the photos suggest. Which is right for a bag clip but check the dimensions.
    Miguel Santana

  • No app, no pairing, batteries and done

    Increasingly rare and increasingly welcome.
    Hilda Nwosu

  • Desk companion for a lonely home office

    Sounds sad. It helps.
    Andreas Kopp

  • Randomised timing is the good part

But it means sometimes it ignores you, which small children find confusing.
    Solene Faucher

  • Ivory is the nicest of the three

Grey is smart, pink is popular, ivory looks the most like a proper object.
    Rahel Tesfaye

  • Gift for a colleague leaving

It sat on her new desk and did the job of a card.
    Douglas Carmichael

  • Motor is audible in a silent room

A faint whirr when it turns. In an office you never notice.
    Ingrid Solheim

  • Still working after a year on a bag

Rain, being sat on, dropped repeatedly.
    Tobias Lindqvist

The Solis Bag Charm is a 20 cm plush companion robot that hooks onto a bag strap or sits on a desk and turns its head toward people who walk past, using motion sensors. It needs no app or screen.

No. There is nothing to pair, configure or update — it wakes on movement and sleeps when still.

Is it noisy in public?
